Every Indian will know how "Dosai" or "Dosa" will look like and How it tastes. Have you ever thought how it got its name?. I am going to reveal how it got its name here.
While preparing "Dosa" we will pour dough in the pan and a "Sai" sound will come have you ever noticed this?. Similarly while put back the "Dosa" in pan another "Sai" sound will come. So totally 2 "Sai". In Hindi 2 is called "Do". So 2 "Sai" = "Dosai".
This is how "Dosai" or "Dosa" got its name....!
